What Grooming Includes:
Every pet groomed receives a nail cut, ear cleaning, blow dry, and a spiffy bow.
Shed Free Treatments: One of the major problems with pet ownership is piles of pet hair everywhere. Pet hair is more than an annoyance. A hair-filled environment presents a hygiene problem. Pet hair is unhealthy for anyone with allergies. It is also a concern to families with crawling infants. Shed free makes life nicer for pets and their owners. Dogs feel and look better with shiny, shed-free coats. Pet owners appreciate a virtually hair-free environment. Imagine no more hair on your clothes or furniture! Canine Country Club’s highly trained Shed Free technicians follow a six-step treatment process using specialized Shed Free tools and products. The treatment includes a thorough brushing with the correct brushes and combs for each pet’s particular coat type. It includes special shampoos and conditioners that moisturize and nourish the skin and coat. To complete the process, an anti-shedding solution is applied.
Healthy Skin & Coat Treatments: Skin is especially susceptible to moisture loss in our dry climate and the low humidity associated with indoor heating during the winter months. This three-step treatment contains patented formulas, which help prevent water loss and maintain normal water balance in the skin. Just try it! You will immediately see improvement in the feel and appearance of your pet’s coat and skin.
Medicated Shampoos: If your pet is suffering from Seborrhea or Flea Bite Dermatitis, we can recommend a special medicated shampoo.
Coat Conditioners: During your pet’s bath we can apply a conditioner to its coat that adds luster and sheen. In addition to enhancing the appearance of the coat, a conditioner will add essential oils to the hair and skin.
Fea & Tick Treatments: Whenever treating a pet for fleas, we recommend the pet owner treat the home, yard, and car to ensure successful eradication. If your pet is on an oral or topical flea treatment, please inform us.
Teeth Brushing: Pet Dental Care is extremely important. More than 85% of dogs and cats over 4 years old suffer from periodontal disease, a condition in which bacteria attack the soft gum tissue. As plaque is allowed to build-up on the teeth, bacteria multiply and attack the roots of the teeth and the jaw. As gums deteriorate, they bleed slightly every time the pet eats or chews. The bleeding allows bacteria into the animal’s bloodstream. This is where the danger lies. Once the bacteria enter the bloodstream, they can travel to major organs and begin an infection in the lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, and, in some cases, the nervous system. Of course, good dental hygiene can prevent periodontal disease from developing in the first place. Canine Country Club associates can be part of your pet’s health care team. We will brush your pet’s teeth using an antibacterial toothpaste and mouthwash that loosens and reduces plaque build-up. Regular teeth brushing is recommended at every grooming appointment and in between appointments, in addition to descaling by a veterinarian.
Nail Trimming: Nails are trimmed whenever pets are groomed at Canine Country Club. However, this service can also be performed between regular grooming appointments.
Most Importantly, if you have a question or feel that something was overlooked, please tell us! We take great pride in the quality of our services and truly understand that our success depends upon your satisfaction. If we ever fall short of your expectations, we want to know.
These services are available for your pet to help ensure a happy, healthy life. We believe regular grooming enhances your pet’s health and well-being. Please tell us if there is any service we don’t offer that you would like performed. Thank you for entrusting us with your pet’s care and we look forward to serving you and your pet in the future.
