About Dr. Nichol
Jeff Nichol, DVM, has practiced veterinary medicine since 1974. Experienced in the challenges of behavior medicine, Dr. Nichol devotes 50% of his professional time to consultations with owners of pets with behavior disorders. The remainder of his work is dedicated to the treatment of physical illnesses and injuries.
Dr. Jeff Nichol is the author of three books, "Is My Dog OK?" and "Is My Cat OK?”, and "A Lifetime Guide to Practical Pet Care”. The questions and answers that comprise a major portion of his three books have been a popular weekly feature of the Pet Care column in the Albuquerque Journal since 1996.
